merry christmas, the Lord is born :)

yesterday's family gathering/dinner at my hse was great.. loads of great food sponsored and made by my mum. but of cos no one was really aware of the blood sweat tears that went on behind the scenes to get it all perfectly ready. and i'm ashamed to say i did not lift a finger to help at all. :)

after dinner was midnight mass. the xmas cantata before the mass IMO wasn't great. there was a lot of effort put into it but it just didnt sufficiently capture the festive spirit. Was horribly sleepy during mass. but at the end of mass we were all pleasantly surprised by the ferrero rochers that were given out by the kind priests :) hoho.

did not go for the stayover w the jcs. i thnk i had more fun slping in my bed.

today. pretty boring. woke up had lunch (last night's leftovers: lamb, spaghetti, mashed potato, cottage pie). and i'm here, now, banging out letters on the keyboard, guitar pick in one hand, guitar on my lap. trying to learn from a website. i miss playing the guitar.

plans for today: no hw. no studying. rest, relax, recreation. perhaps cycling later and a dvd.

that's xmas for me.
