There's this learning fest thing at my school from 25-26 july. X/
Didn't go school today cos Mel and I hadn't done our lit presentation (graded upon 50!!) yet. and its due today. we planned to stay at home and do the presentation then go to school for lit. X/ but looks like we havent even finished reading chapter 3 (i havent progressed since last night and since coming online at 830). i don't think we can finish yettttt omg. anyway.. i asked px to help me sign up for the learning fest, cos can't do it at home, its through the sch's intra net . signed up for:
1)diamond thingy (i think learning abt diff types of diamonds and assessing their value or sth)
2)puppetry (diff types of puppets and how to manipulate them+demo)
3)jumping clay figurines
4)learning thai (i should've chosen tagalog, so next time i can spy on my maid when she's yaddering on the phone haha!)
hmmmm... the only thing i selected differently from the grp is jumping clay figurines. they signed up for creative thinking (i hate those kinda workshops... basically cos it'll be a torture trying to think up stuff. they wanted it cos they think it might be useful for pw.) i'm so different from them.. i was thinking of signing up for all those frivolous stuff like, wearable hairpins for idiots (ya la im an idiot but i didnt sign up in the end what), balloon sculpturing, tie-dye, hydrology(sth abt rivers, but i think no more places left when i wanted to choose tt). px asked the rest if they wanted to sign up for tie dye and i think they were like, err. Fine, its for low iq people. I was considering the self defence for women thing too, but didn't in the end.. cos the bell rang for their gp lesson and i had to hurriedly choose Thai. oh, and i was considering english calligraphy too... why didn't i pick that as well!! can choose more than 4.. all because of the bell. shld've gone sch for this and go home after gp.
Overall it sounds quite fun lah... DIAMONDS. muahaha........
11.28am edit: turns out puppetry clashes with some program all j1s have to attend. so i signed up for... english calligraphy. sounds slightly boring... maybe i'll know how to use a quill after that.
